So sorry about posting about pirates again my friends, but I'm in pirate mode and I've been finding SO MANY fabulous ideas out there I just HAD to share!
Click the picture to be directed to the blog I snagged the photo from!
Pirate Numbers! Yay!

I couldn't stop myself from buying this!
Love this idea for classroom jobs! Which reminds ya'll have any ideas for pirate like names for classroom jobs??
This is where I found my inspiration for my hallway display. Thanks Mrs. Jump!!
She also offers this as a FREE yes...I said FREE download! YYAAAHHOO!
Oh my word....TOO CUTE-- in our county- we cannot do ANYTHING with our doors.
:( Blah.

Too precious!

I really like this idea. I am going to use it, but change it just a little. I'm going to use the little metal buckets and put a treasure chest on the front of the buckets and label one Lunch from Home and the other School Lunch. I will have coins with their names on it inside a small pocket chart that they can place inside the buckets each morning.

Sail ho! Have a jolly Thursday Matey!

  1. Just off the top of my head...

Students can be called Buccaneers, lads, lass & lassies
    Teacher is the Captain
Line Leader could be the First Mate
If you have a time out, you can call it Davey Jones Locker.

I could possibly think of more but I don't know what your classroom jobs are.

  2. All very cute! I love the lunch count idea. We can't do anything with our doors either. They have a large pane of glass in them, and we aren't allowed to cover it in any way.

  3. Seeing your pirate post on my sidebar I thought I would stop in to look for more ideas for my classroom, only to discover of few of my own ideas! I am flattered. Thank you for the feature and for the link to all the other wonderful ideas.

  4. oh and by the way, I like your idea of having pirate type names for jobs on the job chart. Perhaps I will have to make a new job chart! :)

  5. Just found your info on Pirates. I am doing a pirate theme, too. You will have to check it out!! I snatched up some more good ideas here!!
