December Calendar

Did you all survive the Black Friday shopping days?  My mom & I braved the crowds and shopped at our 3 most frequented shopping destinations...Tar-jay, Khol's, and the CRAZY HOUSE known as Toys R' Us!  Two of Noah's wish list items just happen to be the "Toys of the Year,"...thank you, Nickelodion commercials!  Now, if I can just keep him from watching new ones for, like 27 more days, we're good!  :)

Is anyone else out there loving that crazy Target lady?  This is my fave commercial from the year and I CANNOT get, "Rum tummy tummy, Rum tummy tummy, Rum tummy tummy, ho ho ho!" out of my head.  My three-year-old is singing it now...geez!

Anywho, enough about shopping...how about a freebie on Cyber Monday?  I just finished the Decemeber calendar and to-do-list.  Hope you like it!

I'm preparing to do an apple unit with my little one in a couple of weeks.  So, I've been doing some late-night blog stalking to find the best and cutest ideas out there.  Check out some of the fun things I've found...

Apple Transferring from Getting Messy With Ms. Jessi

FREE Calendar Download for Preschoolers

As many of you know, I taught Kindergarten for 6 years before I had my little one and now, I'm at home with him.  He will be 3 in April and I thought it was time for him to start learning about the days of the week, the months of the year, and the weather.  So, I racked my brain about how to do this with such a little one and I found some amazing Mamas out there in blogland who are way ahead of me.  So, with their inspiration, I made my own calendar board.

I bought a pocket chart calendar from Oriental Trading that is perfect for little hands. Then, I bought a foam poster board at Walmart to put my other skills pages on that I can move down on Noah's level for him to manipulate.

I bought the calendar here.

Here is my completed Morning Meeting board.  I'm loving it!

To download my printable calendar pages, go HERE.

You can download the weather chart from Confessions of a Homeschooler.

You can download the color of the day chart from 1+1+1=1.

{Free Download} September 2010 Calendar

Happy Friday, Friends!  I recently made a calendar for my cousin who is expecting her 1st baby on Oct. 1st.  I kept a calendar during Noah's 1st year & wrote something special (milestone, new food, new word,  etc) on each day. It is INVALUABLE to me now.  A keepsake I will always treasure.  So, we decided to offer
a new calendar download each month for you to print and use as you wish!

So, since September is right around the corner.  It is available as a FREE download today.   Click here to download!

Have a fabulous weekend!!!  XOXO!
