As I work in my room this week, one thing that I have been working on is my word wall. I use my word wall everyday! It is an amazing teaching tool! So I went looking for some awesome classroom word walls and this is what I found-
Cute way to use an alphabet line! I love the classroom names with the pictures! Great for kinders!

A Teacher's Plan
Mine is on the white board using magnets. The kids really seem to understand the purpose of the word wall this way. I like to take all the words down and play games with them and then they are also up there for them to take back to their seat at anytime if they need help spelling the word.
ReplyDeleteI needed more space on my whiteboard last year so I decided to put my words on small silver magnetic boards in the space under the whiteboard and the floor. I worked really well! I use the words from the Lakeshore set above with magnets on the back. I often found the kids "playing" with the words. There is a picture on my blog theplaidapple.com. Have a great day!
